G.A.M.E. Winter Party

GAME and the Mechanical Engineering Department cordially invite you to the GAME Winter Party, a night of food, drinks, dancing, and wintry fun. The event will take place in Lobdell on December 9th from 8pm to 11pm. Please bring your 21+ ID's. Ticket sales will be offered online-only from this webpage. The quantity is limited so get them before they sell out! All graduate students, faculty, staff and department alumni are invited!

It's a festive-dressed (semi-formal) event to be held in the Ashdown Hulsizer room on Friday, Dec 3rd from 7pm-11pm. We'll all have dinner, a very reasonably priced cash bar and a DJ providing some nice music throughout the evening.

All grad students are welcome, not just mechanical engineers, and you may also bring an outside guest. Space is limited and tickets are selling fast.

Hope to see you all there, last year's Winter Party was a blast, make sure you don't miss this one!!

G.A.M.E. Pre- and Post-Quals Info Sessions

The repository of old quals problems(MIT Certificates required) has been updated just in time for Quals info sessions!

Professor David Hardt will speak at this information session for PhD candidates regarding the requirements and procedures of the ME PhD program. If you just finished quals, come find out what's next! Food will be served.

GAME and MegaWomen will give an overview of the qualifying exam experience, then a panel of PhD candidates will provide specific information and answer questions about each test. If you're taking quals this January or in the spring, consider coming; many have reported this opportunity to be helpful in the past. Food will be served.

GAME is pleased to announce a reception for all graduate students, faculty and staff following the November 4th ME colloquium. A dizzying array of sophisticated grape juice and cheese will be on hand for your enjoyment. The grape juice is so sophisticated you will absolutely need appropriate identification to prove you are old enough (21+) to handle its sophistication. Other refreshments and snacks will be in abundance for those of you with a more pedestrian palate.
